Mentoring Program

Our experienced mentors provide mentoring programs for students of any age.  We work with individuals, small groups or classes on a wide range of activities, from school support, literacy and numeracy support, behavioral support, life support, self empowerment, goal setting, cultural programs, sporting programs and much more.

We will tailor a mentoring program to suit the needs of your students or programs within your schools.

Education Programs

We would like to come to your school and run Indigenous cultural education programs for your teachers or students.

We are experienced in running:

·   Cultural and education training programs for both teachers
    and students

·   Cultural days with whole school activities

·   Presenting Indigenous Cultural studies programs for       

    teachers and students

Training Programs

Our Self Discovery, Leadership and Mentoring training programs are aimed at self empowerment and self belief, looking at different aspects of student’s lives; past, present and in particular their futures.  We want students to understand and realise their potential and help guide them in a direction that they believe is achievable for them.  Our programs are aimed at students of any age. 

Our Leadership and Mentoring Program is aimed at year 10 and 11 students.  This 15 week program takes students through the processes to develop self empowerment and self belief as they discover themselves and their leadership and mentoring potential.  Through collaboration between Nakkarra and the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia (SSABSA) an assessment plan has been developed and approved. This offers students the opportunity to gain a Stage 1 Integrated Learning Unit on completion of the course.
